Hi, I’m Louise, founder of Retreat & Glow Skin & Aesthetics Studio.

For over 25 years, I’ve worked within the beauty industry, helping women feel more confident in themselves. Throughout that time, one thing has always remained the same – confidence isn’t about looking like someone else, it’s about feeling comfortable in your own skin.

When I created Retreat & Glow, I wanted to build more than just another aesthetics clinic.

I wanted to create a calm, private space where every client feels welcomed, listened to and never rushed.

I know that choosing aesthetic treatments can feel overwhelming. There is so much information online, so many different opinions and, for many people, a fear of looking unnatural.

That’s why my approach has always been different.

I believe aesthetic treatments should enhance your natural beauty, never change who you are.

Every face is unique.

Every skin journey is different.

Every treatment plan should be personalised to the individual sitting in front of me.

Why I do what I do

One of the most rewarding parts of my job isn’t performing treatments.

It’s watching someone look in the mirror and smile because they feel like themselves again.

Whether that’s helping improve skin confidence, softening signs of ageing or simply giving someone the confidence to leave the house without makeup, those moments are why I love what I do.

For me, it’s never about chasing trends.

It’s about helping people feel happier in their own skin.

Outside of the clinic, I’m a mum who understands how busy life can be and how easily we put ourselves at the bottom of the list.

That’s one of the reasons I love creating a calm, welcoming environment where my clients can take some time for themselves.
